Fifty Years of Hope

Home of Hope opened on October 5, 1968 thanks to the vision and determination of three mothers, Jane Hartley, Laura Cupp-Neely and Ruth Smith, fueled by a desire as parents for their children and others with developmental disabilities to have the opportunity to reach their full potential in adulthood.

As part of our 50th Anniversary, Home of Hope is making a special effort to acknowledge people and organizations in our communities who make a difference in the lives at Home of Hope by organizing 50 acts of kindness during our 50th year with the expectation of going well beyond our goal as momentum builds.  Everyone in the Home of Hope family will have an opportunity to give back by volunteering in the communities we serve and showing appreciation to those who help make Home of Hope and subsidiaries great places to live and work.   Watch our progress…
