This year, Home of Hope is celebrating 50 years of work changing the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities. We will celebrate this momentous occasion with a 50th Anniversary Celebration. In an evening of recollection, we will recognize many people who have played significant roles in the combined accomplishments of Home of Hope, Rogers County Training Center, and Delaware County Friendship Homes. We hope you can be there.
Our keynote speaker this year, Frank Stephens, speaks internationally as an advocate for himself and others with Down Syndrome. His dynamic and passionate message and delivery has gained Frank the role of a Special Olympics Global Messenger and the opportunity to testify before a Congressional committee and the United Nations about funding research on Down Syndrome. We are very excited to hear Frank’s powerful presentation and know it will be one you won’t forget.
As a special addition to the 50th Anniversary Celebration, we are re-organizing Hope of Hope’s well-known High Hopes singing group for a one-night-only performance. This outstanding entertainment, silent and live auctions, fabulous dinner and drinks, will round out the historic evening celebrating programs that make significant differences in the lives of individuals with developmental and other disabilities.
