Tamara has worked in the Human Resource field for a variety of industries, bringing her knowledge and experience to Home of Hope in 2018. In her role at Home of Hope, Tamara is providing human resource support and infrastructure for an organization that empowers people with disabilities to live happy and productive lives, which she says “is a wonderful perk of the job.” Growing up in the Vinita, Tamara says she “has always admired Home of Hope, and appreciates what Home of Hope brings to the community as a large employer.”
In her time away from work Tamara enjoys music of all kinds and going to concerts. She loves having fun with friends and her family which includes her husband, a blended family of 6 children, 2 of the smartest dogs in the world and a cat to round out the crew.
Tamara earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification in January 2011 and the SHRM-SCP certification in 2015. She has maintained the certification credentials by continuing higher education through Rogers State University and Western International University and attending HR conferences and gaining work related experience in the HR field. Tamara has an Associates in Arts, Business Administration from Rogers State University and will graduate from Western International University with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management in December 2018.
