Key To Hope Legacy Society

HOH marbleHELV

In 1968 three courageous women formed the Home of Hope so adults with developmental disabilities would always have a place, not only to exist but to really live. The hearts of Laura Neely, Jane Hartley, and Ruth Smith still live in this work every day. But will the Home be here tomorrow? Ten years from now? Twenty?

What is the Key to Hope Society?

  • The Key to Hope Society was established to honor those who have named Home of Hope, Inc. or the Key to Hope Foundation in Vinita, Oklahoma as a beneficiary in their will or trust, retirement account, charitable gift annuity, charitable trust, or life insurance policy, or have established lasting support for Home of Hope through the establishment of an endowment fund.

  • Membership involves no dues, obligations, or solicitations, but allows us to thank Society members during their lifetimes and also allows their gifts to inspire generosity in others.

What can your gift provide for you?

  • Reducing estate taxes

  • Providing income for life

  • Allowing you to make a much larger gift than you thought possible

(without taking away from family or financial needs)

  • A potential current income tax deduction

  • Reduction or avoidance of capital gains taxes

  • The continued support of the vital work of Home of Hope

What will your legacy be?

Ultimately, it is what we do with what we have in life, and what we choose to leave behind, that will determine how we are remembered – our legacy. Our gifts to provide for men and women who will continue to face intellectual and developmental challenges long after we are gone will be for them the Key to Hope.
